So what was i doing last two days?

the APAC conference on Sharepoint was great. This is the first time we had this event in APAC and better we had it at home.

I have met with many of my peers, partners, customers and ex-colleagues. It was good to see SDM, DSC-IT, ChangeCorp at the partner pavillion. Elaine and  Ben had some good sessions on MOSS and Infopath. John Hodgson's session on Excel Services was also good. Dave Glover's cabana was short due to the delayed previous session on mytalk.com.au. But, I think he would have delivered a good session on powershell at the usergroup last night. Mick was good as usual. David's session on CRM didn't rock. Silverlight cabana was well attended but was very high level. it was an intro of silverlight to the sharepoint folks so it was not too bad.

Steve's workflow sessions showcased how hard it is to work with WF to get a working workflow running in sharepoint from VS.NET and the limitations you would bump into when using Sharepoint Designer. I guess it is the opportunity for partners like K2.

All in all it was a good experience. Looking forward to TechEd 2007!

    Demo Anytime

working as a TS is fun. I have attended the MOSS SIG last week. It was good. great to meet the people in the game ... the meeting was coming to a close sooner than expected and guess what I was asked to present ....just like that :) so I did and ..boy I learnt a few things that night...glad I had my kit with me. but, it is better to keep a VM warmed up and ready.. specially if you are a TS :) I enjoyed the experience very much though. I think I pulled it off. People liked K2's MOSS integration.

K2 presentation at Canberra .NET User Group 15 Feb 2007

I was given the opportunity to present K2 to the Canberra .NET User Group members on Thursday. There were two sessions and were
    reasonably well attended.

I demonstrated K2's integration with MOSS 2007 with K2 SP4 and covered our BlackPearl release as well.

    VictoriaDotNET regional conference in Ballarat

Attended the First regional conference of VictorisDotNET in Ballarat Saturday. One day full of useful events. I made the most of it. Vasu also came along so spending the whole saturday didn't mean I have to leave family :) She attended most of the Biz sessions while I moved between the Tech and Biz tracks.

I won the MSDN subscription - the grand prize giveaway of the event :))

Met with Dave Glover, Ed Richard and Bill Chestnut. Also couple of other MVPs. Very excited to see the new line of products from Microsoft. I am sure to be attending more User Group events in the upcoming months - I am hooked.
