    blogging...

I have been blogging on the net since Wed 19th March 2003 :) I used blogger initially then on to wordpress and spaces. I use these blogs for different topics and audiences. I also read and comment on other blogs at times. I think Blog is probably the killer app for the net. After email, homepages/websites and search engines we now have a surge in blogs and social networking sites. I guess Blog is a version of the good old homepage but more of a dynamic and collaborative version anyway. I use it often and see the value of it in my daily professional and personal life. [This is something I found out by reading another blog.. Where are the code names for the MS Dev tools such as Orcas,  Whidbey, etc are coming from?  http://ozgrant.com/2007/12/09/where-is-camano-island/ ]

How many of you had blogs in 2003? :) What would be the future of blogs?

    WM 6.0 and HTC p3600i

Just acquired a new HTC phone - htc p3600i - with Windows Mobile 6.0
this phone is better than my Nokia N95. I will update my experiences with it and will compare with N95 in the coming days...

    UPDATE

Ok I have been using the HTC for a few weeks now and it ROCKS! :) The GPS is awesome - CoPilot software is great.
The GPS is much better than the one comes with Nokia N95 in terms of usability and  responsiveness.

The usual goodness of using a windows powered device - you cant beat that. Email, Internet, MSN, wmplayer and phone in one device is cool and when you add GPS and a decent camera to the mix it is superb!

I kind of wish the camera is perhaps 3.1 MP than the 2.0MP comes with it. BTW, I was happy with the 2MP with my previous N70 and the pictures are ok with the HTC but I think N70 had a better camera (a faster one than the N95's 5 MP version, although the quality was much better with a 5MP anyway)

I had to reboot a few times when I run too many apps or dont have the patience to wait for it..but I think for my use this is a great tool.

It could be better in a few ways and here's some suggestions:
    1. I would love to be able to run multiple internet explorer sessions and wmplayer sessions at once.
    2. Better integration of address book like insert field values from a recipient would be a good feature to have but the copy n paste works for me
this sucked in N95 btw. I was only able to do copy/paste an certain places and had to use the pen button to do this.

Overall I am very very happy with my HTC (my XMas present :)
